St Maria Goretti’s Catholic School is a double stream co-educational Catholic Primary School for students from 4 Year old Kindergarten to Year 6. The school has been serving the community of Redcliffe and Belmont for more than 60 years.  The school also has a strong focus on Indigenous education which is demonstrated by the inclusion of the ‘Moort Waabiny’ Aboriginal Playgroup for students 0-4 years.

Principal’s Welcome

St Maria Goretti’s Catholic School invites you to be a part of our amazing community. We can offer your child a safe, nurturing environment where they will be encouraged to reach their potential.

Our school has recently completed a major redevelopment program which has delivered state-of-the-art teaching and learning facilities, a purpose built nature playground, an undercover gym and assembly facilities that are the equal of any other comparable school in the area.

We are also partnering with Early Life Foundations to use the Walker Learning Approach to deliver our curriculum. This personalised developmental learning approach is a balance student/teacher centred philosophy which enables students to achieve learning outcomes through pursuing their interests, thus increasing engagement for students as well as enabling them to see the relevance of what is being taught. The outcome is confident learners who leave our school with skills that have them well equipped for life in the 21st century.

Learn More about the Walker Learning Approach here.

All of these elements together with our outstanding teachers, means there has never been a better time for you to join our supportive and growing community. To find out how to join us, simply visit our “Enrolment” page.

I look forward to welcoming you to our school.

Kind regards,

Darren McDonald
Principal
