During Week 6 of Coding Club, the students completed their coding by colour sensors and began to put the final touches on this Term’s project – a robotic M&M sorter.
In order to finish programming the colour sensor, the students used the ‘loop’, ‘switch’ and ‘wait’ functions. The final testing process taught the students a valuable lesson about the troubleshooting code, as any experienced programmer knows nothing ever works quite right on the first try.
For the remainder of the Term the students will begin to design, construct and program their own sumo wrestling robot which will utilize both colour and infra red sensors.
