Quality Catholic School

The fundamental understanding required about QCS is that it is based on a view that organisational culture is what drives and sustains effectiveness and that culture is essentially developed from within. This understanding is developed in the QCS Framework as five Guiding Propositions. Understanding these propositions is critical to understanding QCS. They provide a filter through which individual school processes and actions can be passed to test if they actually align with the intention of QCS. Systemic initiatives in support of QCS must be capable of passing through the same filter. Using the propositions in this way promotes alignment and coherence in decision-making.

The Quality Catholic School (QCS) project endeavours to – a whole-school planning and improvement framework for all Catholic schools, learning centres and learning access channels that is globally exceptional, locally relevant and focused on student learning and whole life outcomes
