Physical Education
At Saint Maria Goretti Catholic School, Physical Education plays an important role in promoting healthy, active lifestyles and supporting the wellbeing of every student.
Through weekly PE lessons and a variety of whole-school sport programs, students develop fundamental movement skills, teamwork, resilience, and a strong sense of fair play. We encourage all students to participate, challenge themselves, and experience the joy of physical activity in a supportive and inclusive environment.
Our students are proud to represent Saint Maria Goretti's in a range of interschool sporting opportunities, including the Dockers Shield, Fever Cup, Perth Glory Cup, interschool cricket carnivals, swimming, athletics, and cross country. These experiences build confidence, school spirit, and a sense of belonging as students strive for personal excellence and teamwork.
Guided by our values of Service, Hope, Integrity, Nurture, and Excellence, we aim to develop not only skilled athletes, but active, respectful, and resilient young people.
